Checking the motor oil pressure

If there is a pressure gauge, you can check the engine oil pressure, if it is too low. It can be found, among other things delayed shutdown of the oil pressure warning lamp on the instrument panel. Since the engine to check the oil pressure should be warm during operation should be careful not to burn yourself on the hot oil or engine parts. The following values correspond to the oil viscosity SAE 20W-20 and 80 ? C.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Warm up the engine and stop it.
  2. Disconnect the cable from the oil pressure sensor and unscrew the sensor.
  3. Start the engine and allow to work with different speeds. In good condition lubrication oil pressure must have the following values (see. Specifications).

When the above checking the sump to be filled.
