Double switch and reversing starter interlock



Adjusting the double switch

1. Stalk

The switch is screwed into the front part of the transmission housing and has two functions - prevents the starter only in selector lever position N or P, and includes a signal reversing position selector R.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If the starter is included in other positions than the N or P, the switch is faulty or broken his adjustment.
2. If it is not turned on and the back light, the switch should be checked.
3. Lift the front of the car and establish on supports.
4. Disconnect the switch connector.
5. Check the resistance between the positions of the selector in N, P or R. There serviceable selector switch to N and P pins 1 and 2 and in the position of selector R is closed pins 3 and 4.
6. If these contacts are not closed, then release the bolts and adjust the switch.
7. If the setting does not work, replace the switch.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the front of the car and establish on supports.
2. Disconnect the connector.
3. Remove the three bolts, remove the switch from the selector mechanism.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the switch, tighten the bolts.
2. Turn the selector to position N.
3. Insert into the hole at the top of the selector 4 mm drill and thread into the hole of the lever switch.
4. Tighten the screws and remove the drill.
5. Connect the cables and check the operation of the switch.
