Installation of the half-line




A warning

During assembly be replaced shall be: axle nut, lock ring inner CV joint, all shot with pins, nuts lower ball joint.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the stuffing box half-line, it is recommended to replace the oil seal.
2. Thoroughly clean the slots axis, slots and lubricate the oil seal lip.
3. Check for loose clamps covers.
4. Replace the inner retaining ring (which is subject to deformation during removal).
5. When installing the half-line, be careful not to damage the oil seal.
6. When lubricating oil seal axle shaft splines and can be installed without using the devices.
The right half on cars of early release (no intermediate support)
7. careful not to damage the oil seal, type in the differential axle shaft.
8. Enter the splines engage with the splines pinion, click on the floor so that the retaining ring has reached a groove pinion.
9. Make sure that the ring had gone into the groove, shaking with the force of the axle shaft.
The right half on vehicles with intermediate support
10. careful not to damage the oil seal, type axle shaft in differential, having passed through the window in the bracket.
11. Align the bolt holes and insert bearing housing.
12. Tighten bolts with the set moment.
Left the floor on all vehicles, except equipped with automatic transmission
13. The procedure is the same as when you install the right axle.
Left the floor on cars with automatic transmission
14. The procedure is the same as when you install the right axle. First the left, then the right half.
All cars
15. Lubricate the outer half-line slots and insert into the hub.
16. Put the washer and screw a new nut.
17. Insert the pin in the ball joint and tighten the nut with the set moment.
18. Attach the tie rod and tighten the nut.
19. Tighten the nut steering rod so that the pin can be inserted without exceeding the specified torque.
20. Zashplintuyte nut.
21. Install the brake caliper.
22. Tighten the new axle nut to specified torque while holding the hub from turning.
23. Install the new lock washer castellated aligning groove the pin with the hole in the half-line, and zashplintuyte.
24. Establish wheels, lower the car.
25. Fill the crankcase oil / transmission fluid.
