Control solenoid valve is installed on the left side of the intake manifold.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The control solenoid valve is installed on the left side of the intake manifold.
2. To replace the solenoid valve disconnect the negative battery terminal. Then, tighten the retaining clip and disconnect the connector connecting the valve.
3. Note the installation position of all hoses on the valve. In order not to mix them at installation, mark each of the hoses and pipes during removal.
4. Release the clamps (if fitted), and disconnect the hoses from the valve.
5. Remove the valve from the mounting bracket and remove it from the engine compartment.
6. Installation is spent upside-down removals. When installing check the hose connection.
7. If the valve is not working as expected, then it is defective and must be replaced.
