The EGR valve

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the EGR valve, which is mounted on the left side of the intake manifold. If necessary, remove the air filter to improve access to the valve. On some models, access can be improved if more backpressure valve lift (see. subsection 6.4.2.4.2).

2. Loosen the nuts and remove the connection pipe and tube recirculation valve backpressure from the recirculation valve.

3. Unscrew and remove the two retaining nuts / bolts and washers and remove the valve from the intake manifold. Peel off the pad and throw it away.

4. Installation is spent upside-down removals. At installation use a new gasket.
