Power steering pump




A warning

Power steering pump disassembly and can not be repaired. When a malfunction replaced.


The pump hydraulic system

1 - the drive belt;
2 - a bolt;
3 - a pulley;
4 - an adjusting washer (only for vehicles with diesel engine);
5 - an adjusting bolt;
6 - a bolt;
7 - a nut;
8 - front bracket;
9 - adjusting the bracket;
10, 11, 12 - bolts;
13 - an arm;
14 - a bolt;
15 - rear bracket;
16, 17 - bolts;
18 - pump;
19 - a bolt;
20 - a nut

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Drain the fluid from the hydraulic system.
2. Disconnect the supply hose 16 (see. Fig. The mechanism of the power steering) from the pump.
3. Loosen the nut 7 (fig. Fig. Pump hydraulic system) and 20 and bolt 17.
4. Remove the bit adjusting screw 5, thereby turning the pump and remove the wire strap 1.
5. Remove the nut 7 and 20 and bolt 17.
6. Remove the bolt 14, holding the pump.
7. Remove the pump 18 with the front bracket 8.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the power steering pump is carried out in reverse order.
2. Tighten the drive belt.
3. Pour the liquid and remove air from the system (see. Subsection 8.11).

Adjust the belt tension power steering pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Loosen the nut 7 and 20 and the bolt 17
2. Turn the adjusting screw 5 until pressing the thumb will not be able to bend the belt by more than 10 mm. The force must be applied to the belt in the middle between the pulley and the pulley of the pump of the engine crankshaft.
3. Tighten the nut 20 to 20 Nm.
4. Tighten the nut and bolt 7 17 20 N ?� m.
