1. Remove the steering with rods (see. Subsection 8.3), thus disconnecting the supply 16 (see. Fig. The mechanism of the power steering) and outlet 17 hydraulic hoses and plug the holes. |
2. Clean dirt from the steering mechanism and tie rods. |
6. Measure the length of the external thread of the ball joint 15, protruding from the nut 1, and write it (see. Fig. The steering mechanism). |
7. Remove the outer nut 1 ball joint 15. |
4. Clamp jaws in a vice with soft metal rack steering. |
8. Press out the ball joint outer tie rod 15. |
9. Remove the clamp 5 Dirt cover 6. |
10. Pull mud cover 6 with the flange 24 of gear and move it. |
