Overview

The power supply system of the carburettor engine consists of a fuel tank, mechanical fuel pump, carburetor Pierburg 2E3, air and fuel filters and fuel lines. Most of the engines are equipped with fuel injection system. This system consists of the fuel tank, an electric submersible pump and the actual fuel injection systems of various designs. Fuel is sprayed into the intake manifold injector, where it is mixed with air through the valve and enters the cylinder. Engines equipped with the injection system compared with carburetors have the following advantages:

precise dosage of fuel at different operating conditions, lower fuel consumption at maximum power;

reducing the amount of harmful substances in the exhaust gases;

an added exhaust gas purifying catalyst adjustable;

self-diagnostics of system of injection sites;

Fuel Injection Systems require no maintenance, it is only the replacement of the fuel filter 20 000 km and an air filter 30 000 km and vehicles with 9.88. - 60 000 km.
