Fuel Level Sensor



Removing and installing fuel level sensor is performed in the following order:
Disconnect the negative battery cable;
Remove the floor covering in the trunk;
Unscrew and remove the inspection hatch;

disconnect the electric plug 1 (Fig. 5.80) from the fuel level sensor;
mark the location of the fuel hose fittings 4 2 cover, and remove them from unions;
Unscrew the large flange nut 3 and remove the fuel level sensor from the fuel tank, it does not bend the float arm;
check the integrity of the spiral fuel level sensor;
Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. The cover of the fuel level sensor must be installed so that the mark on the cover and the tank aligned.
