Removing and installing accelerator pedal position sensor

In the following order

Disconnect the negative battery cable;

Remove trim the bottom of the instrument panel below the steering column;

Remove the bracket from the end of the spindle of the accelerator pedal, and then remove the spindle sleeve and a spring;

Remove the accelerator pedal arm, detaching it from the plate cam position sensor of the accelerator pedal;

Disconnect the electrical connector of the accelerator pedal position sensor;

unscrew the screw and remove the accelerator pedal sensor with a pedal bracket.

Install in reverse order of removal. Install the cam plate on the spindle of the pedal potentiometer according to the dimensions given on fig. 5.86;

Removing and installing coolant temperature sensor

In the following order:

Disconnect the negative battery cable;

1/4 drain the coolant from the cooling system;

the sensor is disposed in the upper outlet conduit of the cooling system on the front side of the cylinder head;

disconnect the electric plug from the sensor;

Remove the bracket sensor and remove the sensor from the slot;

Install in reverse order of removal. It is necessary to use a new O-ring.

Removal and installation of the fuel temperature sensor

In the following order:

Disconnect the negative battery cable;

Unscrew and remove the top casing of the fuel pump;

Unscrew and remove the fuel temperature sensor;

Install in reverse order of removal.

Removal and installation of the inlet air temperature sensor

In the following order:

Disconnect the negative battery cable;

the sensor is installed in an air hose between the heat exchanger and the inlet manifold;

disconnect the electric plug from the sensor;

Remove the bracket and remove the sensor from the slot.

Install in reverse order of removal. It is necessary to install a new O-ring.

Removal and installation of the gauge of frequency of rotation of the crankshaft

In the following order:

the crankshaft speed sensor is mounted on the cylinder block Transmission;

Disconnect the negative battery cable;

disconnect the electric plug from the sensor;

remove the sensor from the cylinder;

Install in reverse order of removal.

Removal and installation of the air flow meter

In the following order:

Disconnect the negative battery cable;

Loosen the hose clamps and disconnect the air supply pipe from the air flow meter and the back of the air filter housing;

Disconnect the electrical connector from the air flow meter;

Unscrew the screws and remove the flow meter of air from the air filter housing.

Install in reverse order of removal. It is necessary to install a new O-ring.

Removal and installation of the air flow meter sensor

In the following order:

cars until August 1994.:

the sensor is located under the dashboard. To gain access to the sensor, remove the relevant section of the instrument panel;

Disconnect the negative battery cable;

Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.

cars in August 1994:

Sensor - an integral part of the electronic control device and can not be removed separately.

Removal and installation of the valve to increase the pressure

In the following order:

increasing the pressure valve is mounted on the inner wing at the rear of the housing of the air filter;

Disconnect the negative battery cable;

disconnect the electric plug from the valve;

zamarkiruyte and disconnect the vacuum hose from the valve to increase the pressure;

Unscrew and remove the valve to increase the pressure of the engine compartment;

Install in reverse order of removal.

Removal and installation of the electronic control unit (ECU)

In the following order:

ECU is installed in the rear of the engine compartment;

Disconnect the negative battery cable;

to access the ECU remove the pollen filter;

disconnect the electric socket, unscrew the nut and remove the ECU out of the car;

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
