Anti-lock brakes (ABS)

Before carrying out any welding work on vehicles equipped with anti-lock brake system (ABS), disconnect the "minus" wire from the battery terminals from the masses, and then disconnect the connector from the block of management ABS.

NOTE
It is necessary to avoid exposure to the ABS control unit to high temperatures, for example, drying paint lamp-reflector or a thermal oven. Even if short-term exposure to temperatures never exceed 95 ? C, and with effects lasting more than 2 hours, 85 ? C. If necessary, disconnect the "minus" wire from the battery terminals and remove the block of management ABS.
