To remove the bonnet 7 (Fig. 16.3), open the lid and secure it in the open position, place a cloth or cardboard under the bottom corners of the bonnet and the front wings, so as not to damage the paint. Removal in the following order: - Mark the position of the hinges 1 and loosen the four screws on the hinges; - Unscrew the screws and remove the hood from the vehicle. Installation spend to sequences, return to removal. Before installation grease hinges bolts. By installing the hood finally tighten the screws, and do it only after aligning the gaps between the bonnet and body.
NOTE The work is best done with an assistant. |
