Lock lid and lock cylinder



Removing the lid lock in the following order:
- Remove the interior trim tailgate. Cylinder lock actuator is pressed into the body and held bosses.

- Disconnect from the castle 3 (Fig. 16.16) or 1 (Fig. 16.17) traction 4 (Fig. 16.16) or 8 (Fig. 16.17).
- Mark the position with a pencil or felt-tip pen lock, then unscrew the bolt and remove the locking lid.
- Disconnect the electrical connector 1 (Fig. 16.16) or 7 (Fig. 16.17), the backlight on the trunk lock.
Installation spend to sequences of return to removal.

Removing the lock cylinder in the following order:

NOTE
The lock cylinder must be removed and installed together with the inserted key. On vehicles equipped with central locking, the mechanism provided for balloon 4 (Fig. 16.18) and the spring 5: Try not to lose these parts during disassembly.

- On models with central locking disconnect from 8.11 traction lock by pressing a screwdriver into the slot on the plastic;
- Remove the actuator central locking system, for which the screwdriver press the plastic biscuit (shown in the inset). When assembling the insert rod to engage with the slider;
- Press the plastic tabs and remove the lock cylinder 2 from the housing 1.
To dismantle the cylinder, remove the retaining ring from the groove of the cylinder, then remove the remaining parts.
The central locking cylinder parts are fixed stopper 6. Remove the stopper from the eccentric cylinder 7 and then insert the key into the lock and remove the parts of the lock cylinder.
Reassembly is the reverse sequence of disassembly, depending on the type of lock cylinder.
Assemble and tighten the cylinder parts together so that the mounting ring or retainer spring can be set without problems.
When connecting the thrust on models with central locking insert a rod into contact with the valve.
