Remove trim pillar

The shoulder belt guide unit and the drive unit is removed and replaced only in gathering. To gain access to the lower point of attachment shoulder strap and attachment to the place of underwear, remove the seat belt. To access the drive unit and the guide device is necessary to remove the front plates and the side pillars. Remove cover 1 (Fig. 16.82) pillar with hooks 2 from the rear side of the door opening. Grasp the inner side of the rear cover-up post (arrow in the figure below) and remove the track 3. Also remove the hooks of the two pins, integrally molded with the plate and near the front of the door opening (not shown). Details of fastening lining the side stand is shown in Fig. 16.83.

NOTE
Before removing the drive unit Disconnect "minus" wire from the battery terminals.

In Fig. 16.85, 16.86, 16.87, 16.88 shows the deformation mechanism belt and other parts when exposed to loads in the event of an accident. After the accident, all the details of seat belts should be checked. Belts and other details, if they are detected the strain used in the illustrations should be replaced.
