Bleeding of the hydraulic clutch

NOTE
The work is more convenient to perform with the assistant.

Bleeding of the hydraulic clutch is best done using a special installation. Pressure at "pumping" must not exceed 250 kPa.
Removal of air from a hydraulic drive of coupling procedure is as follows:
- Hang out and lock the support legs front of the vehicle;

Elements of the hydraulic clutch
Fig. 7.6. Elements of the hydraulic clutch: 1 - a tank of hydraulic clutch / brake master cylinder; 2 - fluid hose; 3 - a vacuum brake booster; 4 - Dust Cap; 5 - an arm of the servo brake; 6 - the clutch pedal; 7 - bleeder valve clutch master cylinder; 8 - the clutch master cylinder; 9 - a nut bracket clutch master cylinder; 10 - coupling of the pipeline; 11 - the pipeline; 12 - a lining; 13 - Bearing; 14 - the plug; 15 - a lining; 16 - bleeder valve clutch slave cylinder; 17 - the working cylinder of coupling; 18 - a nut bracket of the working cylinder; 19 - clutch; 20 - clutch flexible hose; 21 - a flexible hose

- Clear by setting the air from the clutch master cylinder, located on the side walls of the engine compartment, next to the vacuum brake booster 3 (Fig. 7.6); remove the protective rubber cap with a bleeder at the top of the cylinder;
- Wear transparent tube for air vent clutch master cylinder and the other lower end of the tube into the container with a small amount of brake fluid, the end of the tube must be immersed into the brake fluid. The capacity of the brake fluid should be at least 300 mm above the valve pumping - this will help prevent the entry of air into the cylinder valve thread through pumping;
- Check that the brake fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir was within normal limits, and cook fresh brake fluid refilling;
- Press the clutch pedal down and unscrew half turn the bleeder valve clutch master cylinder. Continuing to press the pedal box in the expel liquid together with air through the tube into the container. After the pedal will take forward position, and leakage of fluid through a hose will stop, zaverntite valve until it stops bleeding. Repeat these steps until the air is no longer out of the tube. Hold the pedal depressed, tighten the fitting until it stops and lift the receiver. Thoroughly wipe the valve pumping the clutch master cylinder and replace the protective cap;
- In a similar manner to remove air from the clutch slave cylinder.
