Refitting the clutch cable
Removing the clutch cable using the following procedure: - Remove the cover from the fuse box. Unscrewing the mounting screws, remove the lower part of the instrument panel; - Otverntite two screws that secure the housing to the bottom of the steering column and remove the cover;

- Repeatedly press and release the clutch pedal. Fix the clutch cable adjustment mechanism (for example, a wire clamp) by moving the stop lever in the direction opposite to the normal operating position, then remove the cable from the clutch lever;

NOTE To fix the adjusting mechanism of a free wheeling of pedals instead of the wire clamp is more convenient to use a special locking clip (1) with the lugs (2) (Fig. 7.8). If the mechanism of adjustment of a free wheeling of pedals for any reason you can not fix, cut the cable grip in the most convenient location, and during installation, use the new cable. For compression adjustment mechanism free wheeling pedals to move the sealing washer rope a few times back and forth to complete the compression mechanism. |
- Disconnect the cable from the retainer; - Disconnect the cable from the clutch pedal and pull it into the engine compartment. The installation of a cable of coupling clutch performed as follows: - Pull the clutch cable from the engine compartment into the passenger compartment, connect it to the clutch pedal and correctly located in the engine compartment, without fixing it securely in place; - Connect the cable to the lever clutch; - Fix the cable to the latch, and then remove the special locking clamp with automatic cable adjustment mechanism; - Make sure that the cable is not in contact with the top of the gearbox;

- To adjust the rope five times to press the clutch pedal all the way and then release it on 10 mm and make sure that the pedal moves freely (Fig. 7.9); - Refit the cover the bottom of the steering column and the lower part of the dashboard.
