Assembling the motor in the following sequence:

The cylinder block, crankshaft and intermediate shaft

- Set the cylinder block 17 (see. Fig. 3.27) sump up;
- Clean the bed of radical bearings and main bearing shells;
- Set shells 3, 5 main bearings in bed. Each pad must be installed in the bearing, from which has been removed;
- Establish persistent half rings of the central main bearing 6;
- Lubricate the inserts mounted engine oil;
- Lubricate with engine oil all crankshaft journals, including working in contact with the seals;
- Set the crankshaft 7 in the bed of the cylinder;
- Set shells 3, 5 in the lid 2 crankshaft bearing. Each pad must be installed on the bearing, which was withdrawn. On the bearing cap number 1, 2 and 5 sets inserts with a smooth inner surface on the bearing cover number 4 - a groove for lubrication. Insert the cover of the central main bearing, too smooth, his cap set persistent half rings 4;
- Establish persistent half rings on both sides of the crankshaft bearing cap ?�� 3. The surface of the thrust half rings with grease grooves should be directed to the outside;
- Lubricate the insert central main bearing cover, install the cover, insert the bolts securing the cover 1 and tighten to torque (see. Sect. 3.1.1);
- Define the axial play of the crankshaft (see. Sect. 3.1.15);
- Lubricate the inserts remaining crankshaft bearing caps set 2, insert the bolts securing the covers 1 and tighten their demanded moment;
- Rotate the crankshaft by hand - it should rotate easily and smoothly;
- Set of pistons with rods in assembly (see. Sect. 3.1.13);
- Rotate the crankshaft by hand - it should rotate easily and smoothly;
- Install the oil pump (see. Sect. 3.1.12);
- Install the front cover 15 of the crankshaft 16 with a new gasket and tighten the screws 14;

- Grease working edges of the front crankshaft oil seal 13 and set the seal with the mandrel (Fig. 3.41);
- Replace the back cover of the crankshaft with a new cover gasket, tighten the bolts back cover;
- Lubricate sealing lips of the crankshaft rear oil seal and install the seal with the mandrel;
- Install the oil pan (see. Sect. 3.1.10);
- Turn the engine and set it in its normal position;
- Apply sealant to the outer lower end of the dipstick tube and place the tube in the cylinder block using a mallet;

- Set the toothed pulley 11 (see. Fig. 3.3) at the end of the crankshaft;
- Lock the crankshaft from turning a long shaft, mounted between the two screws at the rear of the crankshaft, and tighten a bolt of fastening of a gear pulley 12 of the crankshaft;
- Establish an intermediate shaft (see. Sect. 3.1.9);
- Set the alternator mounting bracket and tighten its mounting;
- Turn the crankshaft clockwise so that all pistons were established in the middle of its stroke, the piston cylinder number 1 must perform the compression stroke;
- Set the cylinder head gasket and the cylinder head (see. Sect. 3.1.6);
- Install the front ring and tighten a bolt of its fastening;
- Install protective plate 7 (see. Fig. 3.3) and tighten bolts of its fastening 2;
- Set the hydraulic tappets and the camshaft (see. Sect. 3.1.5);
- Turn the intermediate shaft so that the woodruff key groove facing up, and install the woodruff key in the slot;
- Establish an intermediate shaft sprocket, tighten the pulley bolt intermediate shaft, locking it against rotation;
- Set the tension roller toothed timing belt, tighten the nut of a tension roller so that the roller axis is turned with force;
- Establish a pulley 9 (see. Fig. 3.3) of the crankshaft, secure it with two screws on the diagonal;

- Turn the camshaft in a position corresponding to the position of number 1 cylinder piston at TDC, ie, to align the marks on the pulley with the plane of the cylinder head (see. Fig. 3.5);
- Set the number 1 cylinder piston at TDC by turning the crankshaft clockwise;

- Align the marks on the intermediate pulley and crank shafts rotating intermediate shaft (see. Fig. 3.4);
- Set the timing belt gear and check its tension (see. Sect. 3.1.4);
- Remove the bolts and remove a pulley 9 (see. Fig. 3.3), noting his pre-position;
- Check the seal on the bottom cover 10 timing belt, install the cover 10 and tighten the cover bolts;
- Establish a pulley on the crankshaft 9 labeling and tighten bolts of a pulley;

- The gasket 12 (see. Fig. 3.8) and the plug 13 in the cylinder head;
- Install a new gasket 5 cylinder head cover;
- Install the slinger 4;
- Replace the cover 6 of the cylinder head and power strips 7;

- Set the upper protective plate 3 (see. Fig. 3.2);
- Set the top cover 1 timing belt;
- Establish an intermediate plate on dowel pins back of the cylinder;
- Install the flywheel or a leading disk (see. Sect. 3.1.8);
- Set the auxiliary units of the engine.
If the hydraulic tappets are replaced, do not let the engine for 30 minutes. This time is needed to exit the pusher excess oil, otherwise possible collision of the valve and the piston.
