Replacement seals crankshaft



Replacement of a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft in the following order:
- Remove the timing belt (see. Sect. 3.1.4) and toothed crankshaft pulley;

- Remove the bolts 14 (see. Fig. 3.27) that secure the front cover of the crankshaft, oil pan mounting bolts to the lid, remove the lid 15 and gasket 16;
- Remove the front oil seal of the crankshaft 13 from the cover 15;
- Thoroughly clean the surface of the opening cover 15 to install the gland;
- Dip 13 new oil seal into the engine oil and insert it into the cover 15 with a mandrel. Make sure that the working edge of the gland is directed inwards;
- Install the front cover 15 Gland cylinder block and tighten the screws 14 alternately crosswise;
- Establish a gear crankshaft pulley and timing belt.
Replacing the crankshaft rear oil seal in the following sequence:
- Remove the flywheel or the drive plate (see. Sect. 3.1.8);
- Unscrew the back cover of the crankshaft, remove the cover and cover gasket;
- Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal from the rear cover;
- Thoroughly clean the surface of the opening of the lid seal installer;
- Dip the new seal into the engine oil and insert it into the cover with the mandrel. Make sure that the working edge of the gland is directed inwards;
- Replace the back cover from the gland to the cylinder block and tighten alternately cross-wise;
- Install the flywheel or the drive plate.
