Steering wheel
Refitting Removal in the following order: - Disconnect "minus" wire from the battery terminals; - Set the front wheels to the "straight ahead"; - Using the lever switch remove audio signal from the central part of the steering wheel; - Noting the location of the wires, disconnect them from the clamps on the switch the audio signal; - Mark the position of the steering wheel relative to the steering shaft and unscrew the central bolt of the steering wheel; - Capturing the steering wheel with both sides, pull it toward you and remove the wheel from the shaft; - If the tire sits firmly with a hammer through a drift of a soft metal, apply a few blows to the end of the steering shaft, and an assistant at the time to pull the wheel itself.
Steering wheel installation spend to sequences, return to removal. When installing the steering wheel turns a switch lever must be in neutral: otherwise it may be damaged.

Since January 1989 vehicles set the steering wheel with upgraded slots. Smaller slots provide a more accurate setting of the steering wheel. To install the new steering wheel on the car early release should be using the nuts of the steering wheel put into the splined part of the steering column bushing (additional spare parts) (Fig. 11.2). It is necessary to screw the nut to the end of the thread. Remove the nut, the washer 3 mm thick (more spare) and tighten the bushing nut of the steering wheel (Fig. 11.3).
