Adjusting the steering gear backlash

11.10.2 Steering transfer with the amplifier

The steering gear rail should not have backlash during rotation of the steering wheel from lock to lock. Adjustable steering transmission amplifier, it is desirable to make the service station with the use of special equipment. In the "car on wheels", slowly turn the steering wheel from lock to lock - wheels should turn smoothly and without delay. Otherwise, adjust the steering gear backlash.
