Accumulator battery

Installed in the car battery (12) includes six accumulators consisting of positive and negative plates which are in the electrolyte. The battery supplies electrical energy to start the engine, vehicle lighting, for other consumers.
Such further work should be carried out regularly in order to extend battery life:
- Is necessary to keep the battery clean. Its surface is always completely dry, as otherwise might occur between the cells on the surface leakage current, so that the battery is discharging;
- Electrolyte level should always reach the label on the housing. To restore the level should be topped up with distilled water only.

A warning
In cold weather, do not leave the battery in an uncharged state, as it freezes. Weakly charged battery will freeze faster.
