The fuel filter is designed to trap particles that can cause a malfunction of the fuel system. It is installed under the metal cap 27 (see. Fig. 206) near the fuel tank 24. The filter is built into the supply line between the fuel pump and a fuel distribution manifold. In the filter, there is an arrow that indicates the direction of movement of the fuel. When installing the new filter, it should be noted. The filter has a long life, so it does not require replacement during technical inspections and maintenance work car. It should be changed only if it is clogged.
