Though the exhaust system of the diesel engine differs from that of a gasoline engine, however it is mainly applicable to all the recommendations, which have already been given in the description of the exhaust system of gasoline engine. The system consists of the exhaust turbocharger, charge air cooler and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR). The exhaust pipe is connected to the nozzle for discharging gas turbocharger. Behind the front exhaust pipe is a catalyst that is associated with secondary silencer. Further, some additional recommendations for work on removing and installing parts of the exhaust system: - Catalyst muffler is fastened to the middle by means of the clamp and the front exhaust pipe by means of three bolts and nuts; - Do not use when connecting parts of the exhaust system in front of the catalyst no additional sealing means for sealing joints; - In the joints, use new nuts and gaskets; - For fixing the exhaust note to rubber collars pendants exhaust system is not under stress, as otherwise they will quickly come into disrepair. After installation, make sure that all parts of the exhaust system are located at a sufficient distance from other parts of the car.
