Each nozzle is bolted to the clamping rail. Between the nozzle and the cylinder head is a thermal protection screen. Damaged injector can cause the following conditions:
- Disruptions in the ignition of the fuel mixture;
- Knock on one or more cylinders;
- Engine overheating;
- Loss of power;
- Black exhaust fumes;
- High fuel consumption;
- Blue-gray exhaust smoke when starting a cold engine.
Faulty injector can be determined by disconnecting from injectors the fuel high-pressure line, while the engine is running at increased idle speed. When removing the nozzles, proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the wires from AB;
- Remove the bolt cover of the engine, disconnect it from the hose and remove the cover;
