Check steering system for leaks



NOTE
Check the tightness of the steering system is necessary after the installation and in the absence of oil in the tank.

Start the engine.
Turn the steering wheel in both directions to stop and briefly record. As a result, the system creates a maximum pressure (only at idle).
This situation should be checked for leaks details listed below.
O-ring on the valve gear housing of the steering mechanism.
All pipe connections.
Sealing rings rack.
This check is performed only when shifted back anthers.
Open the boot band.
Slide the boot back. If the housing of the steering mechanism and / or anthers clear oil, then the steering gear should be replaced.
