Removing and installing engine control unit



If necessary, replace the engine control unit, connect the diagnostic tester VAS 5051B and perform guided function "Replacing control unit".

Withdrawal
Switch off the ignition.
Remove the wiper motor on the right side.
Unlock the two plug connectors from the engine control unit and disconnect.
Now the control unit can be removed.

Setting
Insert control unit into the mounting frame.
Plug plugs and fix them.
Install the wiper motor on the right side.
Install trim plenum chamber.
Agree on a new engine control unit.
