Electric sunroof

Control hatch with the electric drive
Fig. 2.25. Control hatch with the electric drive: 1 - button control Power moonroof

To control the hatch with the electric drive (Fig. 2.25), the ignition key must be in position II. Luc is equipped with the ?AUTO OPEN? (?Automatic opening").
Just briefly press (1) with one of the two parties (at the closed hatch), and the hatch opens automatically into position for ventilation (A) or in a shifted position (B). The door can be stopped in any position by pressing the button again.
Luke has the following fixed positions:
1) position for ventilation (Fig. 2.25, A) - to open the hatch to maximum ventilation once, briefly press the button on the right side (1). Pressing the left or right side of the button, the sunroof will stop. To fully closing the door, press and hold down the left button;
2) the position of the hatch ajar - to open once, briefly press the button on the left side (1). Luke stops in the position for driving (see. Below). Again, click and hold the left button - sunroof moves to the fully open position (see. Below). During sliding the hatch can be stopped by pressing once again on the left or right side of the button. To fully closing the door, press and hold down the right side of the button;
3) position for the drive - the position in which the hatch is not completely open. Use to reduce noise of air while driving;
4) fully open position - this position is not recommended for use while driving.

WARNINGS
If there are children in the car, it must be ensured that they do not put your head or hands into the opening of the hatch during its closure.
When leaving the car, always remove the key from the ignition.

Tinted visor
Fig. 2.26. Tinted visor

The sunroof is also equipped with manually operated tinted visor (Fig. 2.26). This panel will open automatically with the sunroof.

Closure hatch using special tools
Fig. 2.27. Closing the hatch using special tools: 1 - the screw; 2 - washer; 3 - installation; 4 - clutch

If the sunroof can not be closed by means of electric, it can be closed manually, using for this tool provided in the tool kit supplied (Fig. 2.27).

NOTE
Do not block the light protection shield in the open hatch in the roof. This can disrupt proper operation.

If the switch is pressed the sunroof does not work, check the fuse (15 A). If the fuse is OK, but a power moonroof does not work, use the special wrench from the tool kit supplied, combined with a Phillips screwdriver. To open the other end of the tool, remove it from the handle. Closure hatch in this case must be carried out as follows:
- Remove the glass ceiling interior lighting, unscrew the screws and remove the cover of the lighting ceiling;
- Use a screwdriver to remove the cap from the screw;
- Remove the screw;

NOTE
Be careful not to lose the screw 1 (see. Fig. 2.27), the washer 2, 3, or coupling gasket 4, as without sliding roof hatch will not operate.

- Turn the screwdriver in the reverse end of the handle for turning it into a socket wrench;
- Insert the Allen key into the drive shaft of the electric motor sliding roof and the sliding roof closed by turning the key clockwise.
If you scroll the shaft too far, sliding sunroof will move into the ventilation position. Turn the key in the opposite direction until the hatch is closed again.
