Replacing the wiper arm

Windscreen

The procedure for removing windscreen wiper arms:

1) Open the cover of the engine;

2) remove the cover with a screwdriver (Fig. 10.41);

3) unscrew the nut by two or three turns to protect thread wiper shaft mechanism;

4) Remove the wiper arm to the mechanism holding the nut sliding pliers and spressovyvaya lever;

5) Remove the nut;

6) Remove the wiper arm.

The procedure for installing the windscreen wiper arms:

1) set the wiper arm (Fig. 10.42);

2) Install a nut, but do not tighten;

3) Install the wiper arm in the position shown;

4) tighten the nut. Tightening torque 16 Nm;

5) replace the cover.

Replacement of

and a washer motor

and windscreen wipers

The sequence of actions in preparation for removal of the windshield wiper mechanism:

1) Switch on the ignition;

2) check that the wiper motor in the starting position, turn on and then turn off the cleaner (Fig. 10.43);

3) switch off the ignition;

4) Remove the wiper arm;

5) Remove the cover panel mounting screws (7 pcs.) (Fig. 10.44);

6) Remove the cover panel.

The procedure for removing the windscreen wiper motor:

1) Remove the thrust lever mechanism with ball joint motor (press rod drive mechanism with a large screwdriver) (Fig. 10.45);

2) disconnect the connector;

3) Remove the four bolts from the base plate of the motor and remove the electric motor;

4) Mark the position of the lever drive mechanism on the support plate;

5) loosen the fixing nut 1 (Fig. 10.46) of the lever of the motor and remove the lever;

6) Remove the three mounting bolts of the motor 2.

The procedure for installing the wiper motor:

1) Set the motor and secure it with three screws;

2) turn the lever of the motor on the mark;

3) tighten the nut to 20 Nm (Fig. 10.47). Hold the lever of the motor during the tightening wrench 20 mm;

4) Check the motor, rotate it by hand a few times;

5) set the motor to the base plate;

6) Attach the rod to the lever of the motor and check the installation;

7) Install the cover panel and the windscreen wipers in reverse order;

8) Check the operation of the electric motor.

The procedure for replacing the shaft and (or) the windscreen wiper rods when removing the wiper motor:

1) Remove the six mounting nuts windscreen wiper shaft (Fig. 10.48);

2) remove and replace the linkage assembly or shaft, respectively;

3) Install the assembly. Tightening torque of nuts 10 Nm;

4) Install the cover panel and cleaner in the reverse order;

5) Check the operation.

Replacement of

wiper motor, and glass tailgate

The procedure for removing wiper mechanism:

1) Remove the nut by two or three turns to protect thread wiper shaft mechanism (Fig. 10.49);

2) Remove the wiper arm to the mechanism holding the nut sliding pliers and pressed the lever;

3) Remove the wiper arm;

4) Remove the cover and unscrew the nut from the shaft;

5) Remove the ring cover.

The procedure for removing the wiper motor:

1) Remove the tailgate;

2) Remove the two mounting bolts and remove the gear assembly (Fig. 10.50);

3) disconnect the connector at the front of the motor;

4) remove the motor from the base plate by removing the three screws.

The procedure for installing the wiper mechanism:

1) set the motor on the base plate;

2) Run the motor once to go to the original position (supplied with the voltage of 12 V on the connector terminals);

3) establish a mechanism assembly in the tailgate;

4) set the ring cover;

5) Install and adjust wiper arm;

6) Check the operation.

Replacement of the lever

headlight cleaner

The procedure for removing the lever lights:

1) Take cover next to the fastening of the lever of a cleaner;

2) Remove the nut by two or three turns to protect thread wiper shaft mechanism (Fig. 10.51);

3) Remove the wiper arm to the mechanism, based on a sliding nut with pliers;

4) Remove the nut;

5) Remove the lever;

6) Remove the tube washer.

The procedure for installing the wiper arm lights:

1) connect the tube washer;

2) set the wiper arm;

3) Install the nut without tightening;

4) Adjust the position of the wiper arm (Fig. 10.52);

5) tighten the nut. Tightening torque 4 Nm;

6) Check the operation of the washer / wiper. Check that the wiper arms lying horizontally.

Replacement motor

The procedure for removing the wiper motor lights:

1) switch off the ignition;

2) Remove the wiper arm (Fig. 10.53);

3) remove the headlight;

4) disconnect the connector;

5) Remove the two mounting bolts of the motor and remove the electric motor;

6) Reassemble in reverse order;

7) Check the operation.

Replacing washer pump

Windscreen

The procedure for removal of the windshield washer pump:

1) switch off the ignition;

2) Remove the right front wheel;

3) Remove the liner right front wheel;

4) Drain the washer drum (Fig. 10.54);

5) disconnect the connector and the hose connected to the motor of a washer;

6) remove the pump (gently press out of his large screwdriver).

The procedure for installing the windshield washer pump:

1) Set the washer motor gently press-fit into place;

2) Connect a hose to the motor and washer;

3) Check the operation of the electric motor of a washer;

4) Fill the tank and check for leaks;

5) set the wheels and wheel mudguard.

Replacing washer pump

Replace motor rear window washer producing from under the car.

The procedure for removing the washer pump glass tailgate:

1) switch off the ignition;

2) Drain the washer fluid reservoir (Fig. 10.55);

3) Remove all the screws from the right side podkuzovnoy protection (5 screws and 2 plugs);

4) Disconnect the hose from the motor and washer (in front of the washer fluid reservoir);

5) remove the pump (gently Xpress its large screwdriver).

The procedure for installing the washer pump tailgate:

1) with the power of the jet in the press in the rubber grommet;

2) Connect the connecting hose to the motor drum washer. Check the washer motor;

3) Set podkuzovnuyu protection;

4) Fill the tank and check for leaks.

Replacement level sensor

The procedure for removing the washer fluid level sensor:

1) switch off the ignition;

2) Remove the right front wheel;

3) Remove the liner;

4) Drain the washer fluid reservoir (Fig. 10.56);

5) disconnect the connector;

6) Remove the sensor (gently Xpress its large screwdriver).

The procedure for installing the sensor glass washer:

1) Set the sensor is pressed gently into place;

2) Connect and check for leaks;

3) Install the liner and the wheel.

Replacing the washer fluid reservoir

The procedure for replacing the washer fluid reservoir:

1) remove podkuzovnuyu protection of the right side (in part);

2) Remove the fog lamp;

3) Remove the right front wheel;

4) Remove the liner;

5) Drain the washer fluid reservoir (Fig. 10.57);

6) Remove the connectors and hoses;

7) Remove a few turns bolt carbon filter;

8) Remove the top bolt washer fluid reservoir;

9) Remove the washer assembly (Phillips screws from the top);

10) Remove the bolts washer fluid reservoir;

11) Remove the cover lights;

12) Remove the tank;

13) remove the pump and sensor;

14) set in the reverse order of removal.

Replacement jet

front light washers

The procedure for removing the front jet:

1) remove the insulation of the engine hood;

2) Disconnect the hose from the nozzle (Fig. 10.58);

3) remove the nozzle. Squeeze the tabs on the socket wrench and push the nozzle upwards.

The procedure for installing the front jet:

1) Insert the nozzle and check that the latch is locked;

2) connect the hose to the nozzle. Check whether the washer fluid flows from the nozzle when spraying. If the fluid continues to flow from the nozzle, replace the check valve.

Replacement glass washer

Tailgate

The procedure for replacing a washer glass tailgate:

1) remove the cap vysokoraspolozhennogo brake light;

2) disconnect the connector;

3) Squeeze the snap lock with a screwdriver and remove the jet nozzle (Fig. 10.59);

4) Disconnect the hose;

5) assemble in reverse order.
