Removing and installing the generator at the four-cylinder diesel TDI engine with distributor injection pump



Withdrawal

The weakening of the tension of the V-ribbed belt on the four-cylinder diesel TDI engine with distributor injection pump

Allen wrench, turn counterclockwise V-belt tension mechanism, resulting in a release the tension and remove the belt from the generator (Fig. 18.13).
Loosen the belt tensioner.

Location terminals (1) and the electrical connector (2) for wiring to the alternator in the four-cylinder diesel engines

Remove the nut and disconnect the wire from terminal 1 (Fig. 18.14) generator.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the generator 2.
Take away from the generator lines and hoses.

Unscrew bolts 1 and 2 (Fig. 18.15) fastening of the generator.
Pull coolant hose to the side and remove the generator.

Setting
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.
First tighten the bolt of 1 fastening of the generator.
Check the location of the V-ribbed belt on pulleys.
Tighten the M8 fastening of the generator torque 25 Nm and M10 screw torque 45 Nm.
Tighten the screws fixing the wires to the terminal "30 / B +?� 16 N ?� m, to the terminal ?�D +?� - 4 N ?� m.
