Remove the air filter cover (Fig. 18.20).

Remove the bolts and remove the air tubes 1 and 2 (Fig. 18.21).

Remove alternator drive belt, having a roller mechanism of a tension with external hex, for which ring spanner 17 mm turn clockwise tensioner V-ribbed belt, with the result that release the tension, lock the tensioner in this position, the pins 3204 (Fig. 18.22) and remove alternator belt.

Remove alternator drive belt, having a roller mechanism of a tension with hexagon socket, which hex wrench 10 mm turn clockwise tensioner V-ribbed belt, with the result that release the tension, lock the tensioner in this position, the pins 3204 (Fig. 18.23) and remove alternator belt.
Remove ribbed belt from the alternator pulley.

Disconnect the duct mount 3 (Fig. 18.24) from the back of the generator.
Remove the nut and disconnect the wires from the terminals "30 / B +?� 1 and ?�D +?� 2 generator.
Remove the bolt clamping the pipe cooling system, which is located above the support torque compensator.
Loosen the band clamp and remove the wires going to the alternator and starter.

Remove the bolts 1, 4 and 3 (Fig. 18.25) fastening of the generator and remove the generator 2 from the vehicle.

Setting
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.
Check the location of the V-ribbed belt on pulleys.
Tighten the M8 fastening of the generator torque 25 Nm and M10 screw torque 45 Nm.
Tighten the screws fixing the wires to the terminal "30 / B +?� 16 N ?� m, to the terminal ?�D +?� - 4 N ?� m.
