Replacement and service of spark plugs

You need a special key "21" to invert the spark plugs (with rubber grommet to hold candles).
On engines of Chevrolet Lanos cars used spark plug Champion RN9YC or NGK BPR6ES, electrode gap of 0.7-0.8 mm.
1. Remove the tip of the high-voltage wire to replace the spark.
2. Blow the spark plug wells with compressed air to prevent dirt from entering the engine cylinder at reversing candles.
3. Remove the spark ...
4. ... and pull it out of the candle well.
NOTE
Inspect the spark plug and evaluate its condition in appearance (see. "Diagnosis of engine appearance spark plug").

5. Check the circular probe electrode gap. The gap should be 0.7-0.8 mm.
6. If the clearance is different from the specified value, adjust it, bending the side electrode.

A WARNING
Adjust the gap only podgibaniem side electrode. Any bending of the center electrode will damage the insulator of a candle.

7. When you install spark plugs, screw them first hand (without knob) and then tighten the wrench to 25 Nm.
