Read fault codes



PERFORMANCE ORDER
Using the scanner HI-SCAN
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Connect the scanner to the HI-SCAN diagnostic socket.
3. Turn on the ignition.
4. On the HI-SCAN scanner read the fault codes.
5. Eliminate the malfunction.
6. Clear the DTCs.
7. Disconnect the scanner from the HI-SCAN diagnostic socket.
Using the voltmeter
8. Turn the ignition off.
9. Connect a voltmeter to terminal 1 of the diagnostic socket.
10. Connect the L-15 wire to the diagnostic socket.
11. Sample output is shown on the voltmeter.
12. Read DTCs.
13. Clear the DTCs.
