Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Before releasing remove the fuel pressure in the fuel system, since, otherwise, the fuel under pressure will rapidly flow out of the fuel system.

Close the connection with a towel to avoid splashing of fuel caused by residual pressure in the fuel line.

  1. Remove the fuel rail with the fuel injectors.
  1. When removing the fuel line does not drop the fuel injectors.
  2. When removing the fuel injectors can leak fuel.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the connector from the fuel injector and measure the resistance between the contacts of the connector. Resistance: 15,9 ?� 0,35 ohms at 20 ?� C.
  1. If the resistance is not correct, replace the fuel injector.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Install the new injector O-rings.
  1. Lubricate the fuel injector O-rings.
  1. When installing nozzles rotate around their axes in one and the other side.
  1. Make sure the nozzles are firmly inserted in the fuel line.

If the nozzle is installed correctly, the O-ring may be trapped. Remove the nozzle and re-install it.
