Verification system of injection MFI

If MFI components (sensors, ECM, fuel injectors, etc.) fail, broken fuel supply to the engine in different operating modes, which leads to the following situations.

  1. The engine is hard to start or not start.
  2. Engine idling is unstable.
  3. The engine in all modes is unstable.

If you have any of the above situations, first of all follow the normal diagnostic (ignition, adjust the engine, etc.), and then check the components of the MFI scanner HI-SCAN.

  • Before removing or replacing any element of the system is considered fault codes, and then unplug the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
  • Before disconnecting the wire from the negative terminal of the battery switch off the ignition. Disconnecting the wires with the engine running or with the ignition on may cause damage to the ECM.
  • Connecting the oxygen sensor to the ECM is satisfied shielded cable to minimize potential interference from radio ignition system. If damaged, the shielding wire must be replaced.
  • When checking the generator or disconnect the wire from the positive terminal of the battery to avoid damage to the ECM.
  • When charging the battery installed in the vehicle from an external source, to avoid damage to the ECM after disconnecting the wires to the vehicle from the battery terminals.
