Check the radiator cap pressure

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Through an adapter fix the radiator cap on the test instrument to test the radiator cap.
  1. Increase the pressure to move the valve cover.

Gasoline engines:

The opening pressure of the main valve: 83-110 kPa
The opening pressure of the vacuum valve: -7 kPa

Diesel engines:

The opening pressure of the main valve: 107,9 ? 14,7 kPa
Closing the main valve pressure: 83.4 kPa

  1. Make sure that the valve opens and closes within the specified limits.
  2. Replace the radiator cap if the valve opens and closes the specified limits.

Before testing, make sure that the cover is clean and free of rust and impurities that violate its work.
