Oil for air conditioning compressor

Oil for lubrication of the compressor circulates the air conditioning system when the compressor. When replacing any element of the air conditioning system with a significant loss of refrigerant in the oil, add to its volume remained at the initial level. Oil capacity: 140-160 cm 3.

State oil

  1. The oil should not contain moisture, dust, metallic particles, etc.
  2. Do not mix different types of oil.
  3. The moisture content of the oil is increased, if it remains open to the atmosphere for a long time. After using the oil tank with oil immediately hermetically sealed.

Oil return to the compressor

Check the oil level when the engine is idling for 20-30 minutes in the air conditioning system works with maximum cooling and maximum fan speed, the oil must go back to the compressor.

Checking and topping up oil

Before adding fuel to the air-conditioning compressor, check the compressor oil in the following way.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Perform the oil return to the compressor, and then discharge the air conditioning system of coolant and remove the compressor from the vehicle.
  1. Drain the oil from the compressor outlet.

If the compressor is cold may have difficulty with drain oil. To drain the oil, heat the compressor to a temperature 40-50 ? C.

  1. Measure the amount of leaked oil. If the leaked oil is less than 70 cm 3, so there is a slight oil leak. Check the tightness of the air conditioning system and repair or replace damaged components.
  1. Check the condition of the oil and fill the compressor oil in the following order.

a. If the oil is clean.

The volume of oil drained
Filling
More than 70 cm 3 Oil level is correct. Top up with the amount of oil equal to the amount of leaked oil.
Less than 70 cm 3 The oil level is low. Top up with 70 cm 3 of oil.

b. If the oil is contaminated with metal particles or other materials before charging the refrigerant in the air conditioning system, clean the receiver dryer.
