Checking and adjusting the brake pedal

Turn the brake light switch as long as the gap between the housing and the switch lever of the brake pedal does not reach the nominal value. Then lock switch lock nut (Fig. 6.1).

The gap "A" between the brake pedal and the casing brake light switch: 0.5-1.0 mm.

Check out the free stroke of the brake pedal (Fig. 6.2).

Free running 'B' brake pedal: 3-8 mm.
