Removal and installation of final collectors

Withdrawal

Before proceeding with the procedure, let the engine cool completely.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
Disconnect the spark plugs and remove the spark (Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance).
Give fixing nuts and remove thermofilters exhaust manifolds.

Remove thermofilter exhaust manifold.

Disconnect EGR pipe from the intake manifold.
Before the stop cock a lay brake and block (wedges) rear wheels. Poddomkratte the front of the car and establish it on props.
Disconnect the exhaust pipe exhaust system from the outlet of the exhaust manifold.

To Give "become attached" bolts pre-soak them penetrating oil.

In the reservoir, set the passenger side of the car give EGR pipe bolts and remove the tube.

Give two bolts (arrows) securing EGR pipe to the exhaust manifold, installed on the passenger side of the engine.

First, loosen the outer mount, then central and separate the head from the collector. Part of fixing the exhaust manifolds is a stud, so take care of the pre-marking the location of fasteners to the assembly pin can be installed in the correct order. Also note that the stud used for attaching thermoprotective screens put on long spacers (between the studs and screen), save the washers and note the place of installation.

Note the position of the studs and spacers, and then remove the reservoir.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Install in reverse order. Sand mating surfaces collector and a head. Remove all traces of old gasket material and corrosion EGR pipe flange and mating with him the collector surface installed on the passenger side of the engine. Be sure to replace the gasket between the flange and the collector tube.
Install the fasteners and tighten it with demanded effort. Move the center of the collector out achieving the desired tightening force in three stages.
Coat the threads of the mounting bolts to the collector a reception pipe of the exhaust grease pre antiprihvatyvayuschim sealant, then tighten them firmly.
