Refitting

A warning

The fuel system is under pressure even after the engine is switched off, therefore before a detachment of pipelines it is necessary to remove pressure in fuel system.

Gasoline is explosive, therefore at work with elements of fuel system provide normal ventilation of the workplace, do not use fire, the sparking devices open by fire-dangerous light devices and do not smoke.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the fuel pressure.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
3. Disconnect four sockets from fuel atomizers.
4. Remove the fuel line pressure regulator.
5. Disconnect the fuel hoses from the fuel line.
6. Remove the fuel rail with the fuel injectors.
7. Remove the fuel injectors.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
9. Install new O-rings under the nozzle.
10. Before installing the O-rings apply a small amount of clean engine oil.

Checking injectors

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature. Leave the engine running at idle speed.
2. stethoscope or screwdriver to listen to the sounds created by atomizers at their work.
3. In the absence of the sounds produced when the nozzles, injectors, measure the resistance.
4. If the resistance of the nozzle is normal, check the wires to the nozzle, and the voltage at the PCM 16, 17, 34 and 35.

Check of resistance of fuel atomizers

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the connectors from the injectors.
2. By an ohmmeter measure the resistance of each injector.

Resistance: 15,55-16,25 ohms at 20 ? C

3. If the resistance of the nozzle is not correct, replace the nozzle.

Check of tightness of fuel atomizers

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the injector with the fuel distribution manifold.
2. Using wire secure the nozzle.

A warning

Ensure that the nozzle is securely installed in the fuel line, which will prevent their movement and possibly damage.

Gasoline is explosive, therefore at work with elements of fuel system provide normal ventilation of the workplace, do not use fire, the sparking devices open by fire-dangerous light devices and do not smoke.

3. An additional wire connect plugs F / P (the fuel pump) and In the diagnostic socket.
4. Turn on the ignition.
5. Tilt the fuel injector at an angle of 60 ? and check that there are no fuel leaks from the nozzles.
6. If there is a leak, replace the nozzle.
7. Turn off the ignition and remove the jumper wire.

Checking the fuel injector

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the injector with the fuel distribution manifold.
2. Using wire secure the nozzle.

A warning

Ensure that the nozzle is securely installed in the fuel line, which will prevent their movement and possibly damage.

Gasoline is explosive, therefore at work with elements of fuel system provide normal ventilation of the workplace, do not use fire, the sparking devices open by fire-dangerous light devices and do not smoke.

3. Attach the special tool to the battery and atomizer.
4. Using a measuring container, measure the amount of fuel spray nozzles for 15 seconds.

Performance Fuel Injector: 49-64 ml / 15

5. If the performance of the nozzle is not correct, replace the nozzle.

A warning

When reinstalling the fuel lines and injectors use new O-rings after coating them with a thin layer of engine oil.
