Thermostat

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the bottom mudguard.
2. Remove the radiator cap, unscrew the drain plug and drain the coolant into a suitable container.
3. Remove the top hose.
4. Loosen the nuts and remove the cover of the thermostat.
5. Remove the thermostat.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Visually check the condition of the thermostat.
2. Suspend the thermostat on a string in a transparent container with water.
3. Insert the thermometer into the water, heat the container with water and watch the thermostat valve. Determine the temperature of the start of opening and fully open the valve of the thermostat.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove foreign material from the mating surfaces of the cover of the thermostat.
2. Set the thermostat into the cylinder head so that the dowel pin located on top.
3. Install Seals coated side of the cylinder head.
4. Set the thermostat cover and secure it with nuts.

Torque: 19-26 N ??? m
5. Connect the upper hose.

A warning

Reinsert the hose clip.


6. Fill in the required amount of cooling required coolant.
7. Start up the engine and check for leaks from the cooling system.
