Water pump



1 - a gear belt;
2 - a pulley of a camshaft;
3 - gasket;
4 - a tension roller;
5 - the water pump;
6 - a lining.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the radiator.
2. Loosen the retaining bolts and the adjustment of the generator and remove the drive belt.
3. Rotate the crankshaft so that the piston of the first cylinder is at top dead center on the compression stroke (TDC).
4. Drain the coolant into a suitable container.
5. Remove the water pump in the following order:

- toothed belt;
- Camshaft pulley;
- Gasket;
- tension roller;
- water pump;
- Laying.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the water pump for cracks and damage.
2. Turn the shaft of the water pump and check for smooth rotation in the absence of noise. If necessary, replace the water pump.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove any remnants of gaskets and foreign material gasket sealing surface of the water pump.
2. Place the rubber seal on the water pump.
3. Install water pump and secure it with screws.

Torque: 19-25 N ??? m


A warning

To prevent falling during the installation of the pump gasket, apply a silicone sealant into the groove of the gasket, as shown in the figure. Do not apply sealant to the mating surface.


4. Further installation of the pump is carried out in reverse order of removal.
5. Fill in the required amount of cooling required coolant.
6. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
7. Start up the engine and check for leaks from the cooling system.
