Oil pump



Elements of fastening of the oil pump

1 - the generator;
2 - a bolt, 37-52 N ??? m;
3 - a bolt, 37-52 N ??? m;
4 - bolt, 24-35 N ??? m;
5 - air conditioning compressor;
6 - an arm of the air conditioning compressor;
7 - a bolt, 19-25 N ??? m;
8 - strainer;
9 - a bolt, 7,8-11 N ??? m;
10 - a bolt, 19-25 N ??? m;
11 - a pulley of a gear belt;
12 - bolt 108-118 N ??? m (replace);
13 - oil pump

Disassembly of the oil pump

1 - O-ring (replace);
2 - a bolt, 5,9-8,8 N ??? m;
3 - a cover of the pump;
4 - outer rotor;
5 - the inner rotor;
6 - a lock ring;
7 - spring seat;
8 - a spring;
9 - plunger;
10 - pump housing

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the oil drain plug and drain the oil from the engine.
3. Remove the accessory drive belt.
4. Remove the toothed timing belt.
5. Remove the parts in the sequence shown in Fig. Disassembly of the oil pump.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clean all parts of the oil pump.

2. Check and, if necessary, replace the following parts:

- Deformed or damaged housing and / or the cover of the oil pump;
- Worn or damaged piston;
- Weakened or broken spring.

3. The metal ruler and a feeler gauge, measure the side clearance of the rotors of the oil pump.

Maximum permissible lateral clearance of the oil pump rotors: 0.10 mm

4. The probe measure the gap between the teeth of the rotors of the oil pump.

Maximum permissible backlash between the teeth of the rotors of the oil pump: 0.18 mm

5. The probe measure the clearance between the outer rotor and the body of the oil pump.

Maximum permissible backlash between an external rotor and the housing of the oil pump: 0.20 mm

Setting

Install the oil pump is carried out in reverse order of removal.
