The clutch located between the engine and the transmission and intended for separation and connection of the flywheel disposed on the crankshaft of the engine and a primary shaft of the gearbox.

Clutch consists of a conducted (frictional) disk, a casing of coupling with a press disk and diaphragm spring and clutch mechanism. The friction disc consists of two annular friction linings, which are mounted on the hub via the damper spring.

Diaphragm spring mechanism creates a force that integrates the work of the flywheel and the pressure of the driven disc for joint rotation, in this case, the clutch is turned on and transfers torque from the engine to the transmission.

Management is carried out clutch clutch pedal mounted on a bracket on the brake pedal. The upper part of the clutch pedal is connected to the cable release lever on the clutch housing.

The clutch is as follows:

- Pressing the clutch pedal moves clutch cable and turn the shaft of the squeezing lever connected to the clutch fork;
- Clutch fork moves the clutch, which presses the center of the diaphragm spring, thus releasing the force switching on the perimeter of the spring and the pressure plate moves back. This releases the clutch disc, after which the motor shaft and the transmission shaft can rotate independently of each other;
- When you release the clutch pedal by the spring clutch all the elements are reset and transmitted torque from the engine to the transmission.

On both sides of the slave disk attached friction linings. The leading portion of the disk is connected to the hub through the details of the torsional vibration damper, which provides a resilient connection between them. Vibration damper reduces the dynamic loads that cause twisting (unwinding) shafts transmissions that occur during a sudden change in the vehicle speed, running over bumps in the road, sharp inclusion of coupling, and also due to non-uniformity of torque. Elastic vibrations transmission parts cause noise in machinery and aggregates, as well as vibration, resulting in possible damage to the parts if the amplitude of elastic vibrations reach considerable values. In order to absorb the energy of elastic torsional vibration damper is used.

The free travel is regulated at the connection cable with the clutch release lever.
