4. Drain the engine oil from the engine.
5. Remove the hose of the positive crankcase ventilation hose and ventilation.
6. Disconnect the accelerator cable and, if available, the cable management system of the cruise-control.
7. Remove the air inlet and the intake of fresh air.
8. Disconnect vacuum hose from the vacuum brake booster.
9. Loosen the clamp and remove the upper radiator hose.

10. Disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel line.

A warning

Do not smoke or use an open flame near the fuel system components, as this may cause an explosion.

11. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the hoses going to a heater.
12. Disconnect electric sockets from the valve control system idle speed and throttle position sensor.
13. Disconnect electric sockets from fuel atomizers.
14. Remove the cylinder head from the rest of the electrical connections, remove the bracket and reinstall the eye to lift the engine.

The inhaling moment: 37,2-51,9 N ??? m

15. Remove the bolt and disconnect the ground bus.
. 16. Remove the bolts and remove thermofilter exhaust manifold.
17. Remove the screws and remove the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head.
18. Remove the screws and remove the bypass pipe for coolant.
19. Remove the bolts and remove an arm of support of an inlet collector.
20. Remove the hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves.
21. In certain sequence for 2-3 stages turn out bolts of the cylinder head.
22. Remove the cylinder head and cylinder head gasket.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the cylinder head gasket for leaks, stains, or burn-through cooling liquid gasket between the cylinders.
2. Clean the mating surfaces of the cylinder head and cylinder block from the remnants of lining.

A warning

Exclude hit residues in laying channels for lubrication and engine cylinders.

3. The metal ruler and probe in six directions check the flatness of the cylinder head. If necessary, pereshlifuyte cylinder head.

Maximum rounding: 0.1 mm

4. If flatness exceeds the allowable limits, replace the cylinder head.
5. Measure the height of the cylinder head.

Height:
TED: 133,9-134,1 mm
BFD: 133,8-134,0 mm

6. If the height of the cylinder head is different from the nominal values, replace the cylinder head.

A warning

If you want to make the machining of the cylinder head, preliminary remove the inlet and exhaust manifolds, and check the flatness of the mating surfaces of collectors.

7. The metal ruler and stylus in two directions measure planeness of interfaced surfaces of collectors.

Deviation from flatness of not more than 0.20 mm

8. If the flatness exceeds the allowable limits, replace the cylinder head.

9. The metal ruler and probe in six directions check the flatness of the mating surface of the cylinder.

Deviation from flatness: 0.15mm

10. If the flatness exceeds the allowable limits, pereshlifuyte block. Maximum permissible rounding: 0.20 mm.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install a new gasket on the engine block. Install the cylinder head.
2. Install the mounting bolts of the cylinder head.
3. In certain sequence tighten bolts of the cylinder head in several stages:
TED:
a. tighten the bolts tightening torque 49 N ??? m;
b. in the reverse tightening, loosen the bolts of the cylinder head;
c. re-tighten the bolts tightening torque 39.2 N ??? m;
d. tighten the bolts to 90 ?;
e. tighten bolts on 90 ?;

BFD: tighten the bolts tightening torque 76-81 N ??? m.
4. Install the hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves.
5. Install the intake manifold support bracket and secure it with screws.

Torque:
TED: A - 15,7-22,5 N ??? m
B - 36,3-53,9 N ??? m
BFD: 31,4-46,1 N ??? m

6. Install a bypass pipe for coolant and secure it with a bolt.

Torque: 89,2-116,6 N ??? m

7. Install the exhaust manifold and secure it with screws.

Torque: 38-46 N ??? m

8. Install thermofilter exhaust manifold and secure it with screws.

Torque:
TED: 18,6-25,5
N ??? m BFD: 7,8-10,8 N ??? m

9. Connect the ground bus and tighten its bolt.
10. Establish electrical bracket and reconnect all the connectors. Reinstall the lug for raising the engine and fix its bolts.

The inhaling moment: 37,2-51,9 N ??? m
