Checking the oil level in the automatic transmission, 4WD cars olnoprivodnyh

The volume of the working fluid varies depending on the temperature. Fluid level should be checked with the engine at idle and at normal operating temperature of the working fluid.
1. Place the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Start the engine and press the brake pedal.
3. Alternately set the range switch lever to all positions and then set it to "P" (parking).
4. During operation of the engine at idle, remove the dipstick controlling automatic transmission and wipe it dry. Then insert the dipstick.

5. Again remove the control probe. The normal fluid level corresponds to a range between the markings on the dipstick (Fig. 1.183.
Scale A - hot working fluid.
When traveling by car, when the hydraulic fluid has reached normal operating temperature (about 65 ? C), the fluid level should be between the upper and lower marks on the left side of the probe.
Scale B - for the cold working fluid.
If the engine is not running and the ambient temperature is about 20 ? C, the fluid level must be between the upper and lower marks on the right side of the probe.
Fully insert the control to stop the probe. Topping up hydraulic fluid, control the level of the probe, in order to pour above the maximum level.

NOTE
Check the fluid level of labels on both sides of the feeler. To eliminate errors monitor the level dipstick in a well lit area.
