In order to ensure reliability and long service life of the battery, follow these instructions (Fig. 1.188).
Before servicing the battery remove the cover.
The battery must be securely attached to the vehicle.
Make sure that the battery on top would be clean and dry.
Keep the pins battery terminals and cables. The terminals must be tight and covered with a protective lubricant.
Immediately rinse caught on the battery electrolyte. Use a water solution of baking soda.
If the vehicle will not be operated for a long time, disconnect the wires from the terminal pins of the battery.
