Parking brake holds the vehicle still relatively expensive. Basically it is used to hold the standing car, but can also be used in case of failure of the service braking system. All cars that are described in this manual are equipped with a brake system with a hydraulic drive. All brakes with automatic clearance adjustment of brake pads. For the front disc brake pad wear is automatically compensated for rear drum brake provides a mechanism for adjusting the gap pad down to reduce the thickness of drum brake linings to 2.0 mm. The mechanism is activated every time you turn on the brake system. The hydraulic system consists of two separate circuits. The main brake cylinder is equipped with a separate tank for two circuits, and in the case of liquid leakage or damage in one of the hydraulic actuators other remains workable. Double pressure regulator distributes the hydraulic pressure between the front and rear brake systems in order to prevent the rear wheels locking. The insufficient level of brake fluid in the hydraulic drive prevents the warning lamp activated by a sensor in the master cylinder reservoir. Parking brake is mechanically includes only the rear brakes. It is activated when lifting the lever on the center console between the front seats. Employment brake servo located in the engine compartment on the partition, based on the use of intake manifold vacuum and atmospheric air pressure. After completion of any operations involving the removal of any element of the brake system, before continuing its normal operation, always perform a test ride to check the functioning of the brakes of the vehicle. Check the brakes when driving on a flat, clean and dry roads. Other test conditions may lead to inaccurate results. Check the brake at different speeds at both low and high load. The vehicle must stop evenly, without pulling to one side. Avoid locking the brakes, because this would damage the tire and decreases the efficiency and controllability during braking. Tyre condition, vehicle load and adjusting the angles of the front wheels also affect the operation of the brakes.
