Ignition system
Ignition system provides complete control over adjusting ignition timing. The electronic control unit determines the optimum ignition timing for a given speed, engine temperature, throttle position, and the vacuum in the intake manifold. Ignition system with the ignition distributor Ignition system with the ignition distributor is installed on all models except models 1998 release. The system consists of the ignition, battery, coil and distributor of ignition, electronic control unit, high voltage wires and spark plugs. System of ignition without the ignition distributor (models 1998 of release) This system consists of the ignition coil with a separate output for each cylinder, and the respective sensors and the electronic control unit.
Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER | Ignition system with the ignition distributor | 1. First of all, check the connection cables and connections. Check the battery charge and a fusible link in the engine compartment. | | 2. Check the spark at the spark plugs. | 3. If there is no spark, check the distributor, runner and high voltage wires. | 4. Check the voltage on the high voltage wires coming from the secondary winding of the ignition coil. | | 5. Check the voltage on the primary winding of the ignition coil. Check the resistance of the windings of the ignition coil. | 6. Replace the faulty components. | System of ignition without the ignition distributor | 7. Check for spark at each spark plug by one. | 8. Check the resistance of the windings of the ignition coil. Check the power supply to the ignition coil. | 9. Check the resistance of the high voltage wires. Replace defective components. |
