Check and adjustment of speed of idling (model till 1997 of century)

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Attach the tachometer. Connect terminals TEN and GND a diagnostic socket connection. On models Ford Probe with four-cylinder engine and disconnect the connector connecting the air valve of system of idling.
2. Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature. Make sure that all electrical equipment has been turned off the car.
3. Release the accelerator pedal and measure the speed of the engine at idle.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. On all models except models Ford Probe with four-cylinder engine, connect plugs TEN and GND a diagnostic socket connection (1).
	2. To adjust the idle speed adjustment screw tighten up. Screw idling speed control is located on the throttle body.
