Checking the oil level and liquids

Motor oil

Probe to check the oil level (arrow) is located on the right rear side of the engine. The oil level should be checked before traveling by car or 15 minutes after the engine is switched off.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the dipstick and wipe the end of the probe. Insert the probe till the end of the tube and then remove it. The oil level should be between the two lines on the dipstick. The difference in the quantity of oil between the marks on the dipstick is about 1 liter. Add oil to the upper mark if necessary.
2. The filler neck is located on the valve cover. Filler cap unscrewed counterclockwise. To fill with oil, remove the filler cap, insert the neck of the funnel and pour the oil.

Coolant

On models with the 1998 release, make sure that the coolant level is between the markings MIN and MAX on the reservoir.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Regularly check the coolant level in the reservoir using the dipstick or marks on the reservoir. When the engine is warmed up, the fluid level should rise to the top mark. Add coolant if necessary.
2. When checking the coolant level and check its condition. If the liquid has got brown or rusty color, it must be replaced and flush the cooling system.

Washer fluid

Tank for windscreen washer fluid is located in the front corner of the engine compartment.
Fluid reservoir rear window washer is located in the trunk. Make sure that the liquid level was near the upper mark on the filler neck. In the cold season, use a special antifreeze coolant.

Brake fluid and hydraulic fluid drive clutch

Brake fluid reservoir is located before the vacuum booster and the tank of a hydraulic fluid drive clutch is located near the brake fluid reservoir at the rear of the engine compartment. Make sure that the liquid level was between marks MAX and MIN on the reservoir. Fill the required type of liquid, if necessary.
